The St. Louis Institute of Nanoscience and Nanomedicine Symposium provides a platform for nanotechnology researchers and practitioners to:
- Discuss recent advances in nanoscience, nanotechnology, and nanomedicine
- Identify potential opportunities for commercialization
- Share entrepreneurial experiences
- Connect with academia, industry, government agencies, private foundations, service providers, and venture capitalists
The emergence of nanoscience as a key approach to innovation in advanced materials has sparked a similar interest in the application of its principles to the fields of nanomaterials, nanomedicine, nanotechnologies, agriculture, biomedical diagnostics, therapeutics and basic cell physiology. The overarching goal of the St. Louis Institute of Nanoscience & Nanomedicine is a joint venture sponsored by leading local academic institutions that have assembled a broad base of regional expertise in nanoscience & nanotechnology, medicine, technology transfer, and education to create novel solutions to complex health care problems. The institute will develop viable approaches to foster collaborations between multi-national industrial and regional academic partners, and seek to leverage local financial and community resources to grow the regional nanotechnology enterprise while also expanding economic development in the region.
We hope you will join us for this year’s symposium on Saturday, December 12, 2015.
